Assisted Suicide.
I woke up early this morning in the anticipation for the day. I have some tension, but I think that might be because I slept in a bed that seriously needs a new mates at my mom's house. I took an immatrex for my initial head ache and that seemed to help, my head ache is going down quickly. I took some advil for the other aches and pains and that is kicking in as I type. I am excite to go shopping at the antique store fo some cool old stuff that normal people don't really go shopping for. My mom turned me onto these store and the love of vintage.
I am excited today so a bit of manic behavior is settling in and I don't think there will be much depression, but you never know. I am on a lot of benzos and mood elevators so that might react to my excitement and drinking alcohol. I'll just take things slowly. I am still tired I hate this. Is this because of the medications that I am on. I need to go see my new psychiatrist. I lost Dr. Power because the hospital did rotations and she is now done as a resident and has chosen to g to the VA hospital for her next move. I will miss her greatly, she has been my doctor for almost the entire time I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Do you believe in assisted suicides? I know that maybe they are alright for terminal patients and those in agonizing pain, however, do you think that those with mental disorders should have the right to choose assisted suicide? What if they were to kill themselves... is there a difference? Suicide is such a touchy subject people don't really feel like addressing it. A little over three years ago I was not bipolar and I loved life so much I never thought of suicide, but now I think about it almost constantly and continually. I ask people like my mom if she thinks of suicide and she told me that she never really does and she takes medication for depression so I am surprised that she doesn't have any thoughts of suicide. I really think that this is a way out of being stuck in a life that I am not happy with, that I am not satisfied with. So it is my life, why am I not able to terminate it as and when I see fit?
My mother should be ready soon and then we'll be starting the day. I hope to write soon.
