Apple picking
Hi Everyone,
I went apple picking as part of a meet up event and went to Skyline Caverns as well. I'd never gone apple picking it was fun. They gave us a map of the orchard and it was color coordinated. The tree trunks were painted to match the map so you knew which variety of apples you were picking. If you couldn't reach the apples there were poles you could use, it has a basket and forked top and you pulled the apple and it dropped into the basket.

I hope you enjoyed your apple picking, it sure looks like a lot of fun. Do you prefer yellow apples or red apples? Just curious. My favorite apples are gala apples..

Hi Linda, we're very happy you and your meet up group enjoyed a great time visiting the apple orchard , and picked apples :)The orchard, and trees look very nice :) it brings back lots of special memories for me, of going to apple orchards when i was younger :) the Skyline Caverns look amazing too! :) Holly has trailed to those caverns before :)
