Anyone on the cusp of menopause?

Anyone on the cusp of menopause?  Anyone having their hormones make you feel like a crazy person?  It's where I am at the moment.  I am not in menopause but I am on the edge of it.  The hormones in our body can drive a person crazy.  I am lucky that the pre-menopause or periomenopause symptoms did not last a long time with me.  This week I should have had my period.  Now I have my period every other month or sometimes two months in a row and then skip two period cycles.  I still get the PMSing thing.  This week I have been sweating like a pig.  This week I have seen and felt my mood swings.  I have been crying each morning thinking I was missing my Smokey.  That could be it as well but I think it is my hormones doing loop de loop in my body.  It could be a mixture.  It is different with me each month.  When I do get my period, my breasts get tender, nauseau and the incredible back ache.  When the period is over, so are these symtoms.  I usual take Midol if they get really bad like last month.  This month no period so far and I usually am like clock work on the 18th or 19th of the month.  When this happens, my mood swings and hormones are at their worst.  I can't believe I am working thru this at the moment and still taking my Excel Course.  I can't believe that I am seeing Dave and working thru all this.  Last week Dave got to see the crazy Diane who cries at nothing.  It was touch and go but I explained about the hormones.  It was my saving grace or he would have thrown the baby out with the bath water.  Dave likes me.  I like Dave.  It's been over a month now since we first started dating.  It went fast.  Time goes fast when you are having fun.
My Excel Course:  I have finished the six lessons.  I am just going back to practice for a couple of days before I take the actual test.  I am a bit nervous but the practice sessions will help me a lot.
Today I am having lunch with Carol Simonson.  She hurt herself camping.  She has taken 2 weeks and 3 days off work.  Her arm is still in a sling but has to go back to work tomorrow being Thursday.
Tomorrow Lisa and I are getting together around 1:30 as I need her to move a desk that is in my living room into her storage room.
Don, my older brother, was over for lunch on Monday.  I had left over fresh salmon and made delicious salmon sandwiches.  Dave had made an incredible salmon dinner on Sunday.  These were the left overs.
Talk to you soon and thanks for sharing in advance from Diane Baillie

Had my first \"hot flash\" and went directly to my doctor. Took hormones for almost eighteen years. It kept me from going nuts and made me a much easier person to be around. No breast cancer in my family so there was nothing in my family history to proclude me from taking the hormones. Glad the Excel course is going well and things are good in your life.

Oh, Lord...now I know I\'m not alone...I\'m just a few years younger, but you could have been writing for me...except for the part about Dave and the excel course, of course...lol...at times like that, chocolate becomes my best friend...not that we aren\'t good friends at other times......but seriously, I am there and have found some herbal teas that seem to alleviate some of the symptoms...there are many blends to choose from, just visit your local health food store or herbalist and they\'ll help you find what will be good for you...also plant \"hormones\" that carry fewer risks...Glad Dave is \"understanding\"... Hugs & A Box of Tissues & A Hershey Bar....let me know if you need more...I have an ample supply of them all LOL love ~E~

I went thru it with no issues, no night sweats or anything like that, but then I am usually warm. This means that you can still get pregnant..............holy smokes!!!
