I think he knew from the get go this was not a forever relationship. You need to be honest with him and by that I mean about his drinking too. Maybe it will give him the little push he needs to seek help for himself. You can do it. Hugs, Wendy
I agree with Pat...you need to be truthful and let him know it wasn\'t a life time commitment for you and that is has run it\'s course. There isn\'t going to be a right time to do it. But you have mentioned more than once he is an alcoholic so I wouldn\'t advise doing it while he is drinking...good luck it\'s not easy being the one that has to deliver the bad news but in the long run you will probably be a happier person inside and out...Hugs, Ellen
I would handle it simpley and just tell him it isn\'t working for you. Sharon
