Anxiety and Stress. Can you get used to it?

I think I'm beginning to feel the anxiety and stress of the situation I am in as my new base or core level of living. I am not feeling as badly about it and am not having any panic over it right now. I feel resigned to this level being what I have and so it seems normal now.
I may have turned off some of my feelings so that things don't bother me as much. The little things no longer seem to register as being problems while the big things seem to only be what life is. What can you do about what life is. I forget what it is like to not have stress or worry.
Is this good or bad? I don't know, I'm not feeling as bad but it may be only because I don't care anymore or that I see no hope to get over it or past it. I like not being in panic or the health strain of the stress (tho that is not entirely gone) but I wonder if my emotions and feelings are being numbed and I might start not noticing things I should and let something happen that I would normally catch.
Will I start creating new things to worry about now that I am not so worried about what seems normal to me? I hope not.
Well, at least I still have hope.

Your thoughts on this sound very familiar to me.
I think new worries and anxieties will pop up, then they too will go the way the others do, to numbness, resignation. Keep that hope. Care-Try-that\'s about all one can do sometimes. Though I myself would like to be more proactive as compared to inactive-reactive-which is a learning process for me
Hopefully-(that word HOPE) you can keep on going until you find solutions that work for you-that is what I keep HOPING for
