Antidepressants
I thought they'd help but so far all I've experienced is mood swings, nausea, tiredness and a headache, all of which I gather are sideeffects, I had hatred messages stuck to the car, someone photographing the house, and I know it's getting to me, but mum just says don't let it get to you. Not helpful! I'm heading towards a breakdown, I can sense it, a move would give me somewhere safe to address everything, but I can't step outside the door without worries that I'll be yelled at or vandalism of the car.

Stop, Pause, Breathe.
Here's the thing about the thinking. It is your choice.
So what happens if you just remove the messages, you smile for the camera and wave, and you say thank you to who yells at you. You change the way you respond for your well-being.
Your mum has the right attitude about not letting it get to you. You can NOT change what other people say, do, react, and respond. The more you show your strength and courage to just be, the less it will happen. Once people no longer see the reaction they want, they will get 'bored' and move onto another subject, another topic, another place. As long as they see a reaction from you that fits their scenario, they are going to keep doing the same thing, over and over.
The medicine helps. The effects you mention are because your anxiety is continuing to move upwards. The whole idea of the help of the medicine is that it provides you relief with the symptom you mention to the doctor.
You're doing the right thing writing it out.
Distract your usual thought pattern with the idea that this is temporary. You can make your way through it with small tasks that provide distraction.
