Another weekend is here
As we go into another weekend I think about all we have to do to fix our home. I can push through yet another weekend knowing that yet another week has passed for you to work on yourself. What does this really mean. I often try to explain that we can work together and face our fears to rebuild what is broken. Do you truly understand the pain? Simple answers would suffice. I am not looking beat to you down. I am only wanting to know facts. Marriage = sharing everything you feel is driving further away. It is also driving me away. I do not hate you quite to the contrary. I do love you and that is why I stay. I feel that if you would open up and share with me what you share with the guy friend that maybe I could understand better what is the heart of the matter. I don't wish to control you or your friendships but it seems like history will repeat over if you allow it. Please just talk to me and come cleanabout everything.

Did you give him this letter? I often think that if spouses would write from the heart to each other like this they would be able to make more progress. You want him to show you his heart and you want to show him yours. That is a necessary part of successful rebuilding.
No I didn\'t. This was a quick thing that came to mind as I was leaving work this morning. Actually the thought never crossed my mind to give this to her. Maybe I\'ll just do that. The fixing is also a reference to the actual repair we are doing caused by water damage. Thanks for the comment!
