another ugh
Just a minor one today. Woke not feeling like getting out of bed. Just stayed longer and read my book. Then up, showered, dressed and now checking on here.
I was telling a very good friend yesterday that I just want a peaceful life. I even thought of talking to the exass. Just to clear up my feelings and not to give credence to his. His do not matter. They were lies then and are lies to this day. But do I need to do this to have peace in my life? Or should I just call my therapist? I just feel this weight still and I want it gone.
Most times I've felt good and I channel it away. Sometimes it is more powerful than I imagined and rolls me over. Guess I need to build up my mental "muscles" to make sure this doesn't happen.
Another reason may be the closer it gets to the "d" day anniversary the thoughts start jumbling around. Not thoughts of missing or love but thoughts of disgust that he's in his "nothing bothers me" world and I am here in the real life.
Ok enough!!!! Treadmill here I come!!! (snow came today on first day of spring after being in high 40's yesterday. Guess that added to my mood.)

Make an appointment with your therapist; a good session or two might help you over this bump. Whatever you do, I do NOT recommend talking with your X about it. Like you said, he\'s off in his own little reality and you are in real life. I don\'t see where any conversation with him is going to make anything better for you. Big hugs! xoxo
I agree with Cowgirl. See a therapist instead of talking to your ex. Talking to an ex is wasted energy you could use on something else. Only his opinion counts and you would feel worse after talking to him.
Hon, I totally agree with Cowgirl and Trisha. When I want to vent, I would talk to myself. At least I would get an intelligent and honest answer to the questions. My late father psychologist told my mother that. Why would you give him the satisfaction of seeing you upset? When you do see him, just hold your head up, smile and slowly walk away. Hugs, my friend.
I had pretty much decided on this route but thanks. It was a \"what if?\" moment that we all know the answer to but still put it out there.
Hon he will not validate your feelings, nor will he \"clear\" anything up. Glad that you\'ve decided otherwise. I think one of the hardest lessons that we learn is that we can\'t trust that once most trusted person in our lives. Not to help us and certainly not to care for us! He is about him now. You need to seek your support elsewhere! Keep on keepin\' on sister!

CGK and the other gals are right NC. You\'ll be ok, and this will pass. (((Hugs)))
