Another step closer

Well, as of this morning, my left breast has healed completely up. The skin is still thin in a few small spots, but it IS skin now. There is itching still - as the skin grows thicker - but it's a vast improvement over where I was even a few weeks ago. My right breast is still healing - but even it has begun to heal faster, now that the left side is done. I can see each day that the open wound is growing smaller as the skin fills in from the edges inward. It's now a bit less than 4" x 1.25" in size.
Yes, I still plan to get rid of these breasts entirely in order to have a male chest - but going from a DDD chest down to an A/B chest is a good beginning. Once I get to see the psychologist and get my transgender papers, I will be able to get the rest removed. The appointment has been moved to Feb. 14th..... Valentine's day. Ironic.
I am going today to try borrowing against my car and mobile home in order to buy a plot of land and put a very small house on it. With any luck, this will work - and I'll have a new place of my own to begin my new life in, where no one will ever know I wasn't always a guy. Borrowing against what little I own is crazy, but if this works out, I'll mortgage the new place to pay off the borrowed money - and sell the mobile home to pay off the mortgage on the new place. Complicated, and likely won't meet with much approval - but it's an idea. I've got to try something.
At least I'm still trying, rather than bemoaning my state of financial distress. As long as I can keep on finding something to try improving my situation, I can keep from falling into despair over the way things are.
On another note, I have been able to reduce the amount of prescription medications I'm taking - YAY!!! - and have found a more reliable source of testosterone-boosting supplements that are proven effective. And cost less. I have also found a nutritional booster that helps loose excess body fat, so I'm trying that. Once the doctor allows me to get back to exercising, I should be able to slim down without any health risks at all.
My best friend has commented that my voice sounds deeper - more masculine - now; she said this before she knew I had started taking the testosterone-boosting supplement. I've been on it only a couple of days now, and already I have felt some changes; just little things like sudden impulses to smash things when I feel stressed. This from a non-steroidal supplement. I went to lift something heavy yesterday, and felt a rush of power through my body as I did so. My muscles tingled for an hour afterwards, and I felt oddly euphoric the rest of the day. I know I'm really out of shape, and not supposed to lift anything more than a gallon in weight, but that was so weird - and felt so good. The supplement boosts your body's own testosterone by up to 60%; so my body must still be making some testosterone somehow - minus any reproductive tract - in order for it to be having an effect at all. It's a puzzle, one I have spoken to my OBGYN about, and even she can't figure it out - my body CAN'T be making testosterone, according to her, so this stuff SHOULDN'T be having an effect - but even SHE says it IS. I guess doctors don't know everything.
My blood pressure is doing REALLY well - regularly reading in the lower normal range for a person twenty years younger than I am - and I haven't had any respiratory infections or asthma attacks in several months. I've really got a lot to be thankful for. Things are improving for me, except for the financial end of it.
I'm looking forward to the next phase of my transformation, with hopes of a fresh start in a new place.
