Another Rollercoaster Day in Hell ....

Why I thought for one moment that today would be any different than any other, I don't know ?

Sure enough it started off mildly enough, until he came back from " part " of his extensive walk with a playstation 2 and several controllers for it. After fussing with the wiring on it with the tv in the living room, he started to " try " to make it work. 

I say " try " because for some unknown reason no matter what adjustment he made, it still would not work. I tried to suggest a couple of possibilities, but he didn't want to hear anything from me about it. He wanted it to work RIGHT AWAY.... AND NOT A SECOND LATER ! Of course since it didn't work out, he flew into one of his " typical " rages - threatening to destroy every single piece of electronic equipment in the apartment, as well as promising that since his playstation 2 would not work out in the living room he was NOT going to pay the Spectrum bill - ( which includes the home phone, internet, and cable tv ) ! At one point when he was fussing with the wires, the living room tv almost fell off the tv stand / dvd shelving unit - and he said that he WISHED he would have " let it " fall - AND made sure to destroy it ! 

It was bad enough that he continued to threaten to destroy so much in the apartment, but along with that I was scared out of my skin that he was going to suddenly CHARGE AT ME and start HITTING ME ! The evil stares he kept giving me - to me - seemed to suggest that he was thinking about beginning to HIT ME at any moment ! Besides, the way he kept talking his playstation 2 not working, it was obvious that he was blaming ME for it ! OF course... AS USUAL... EVERYTHING IS MY FAULT !... 

Eventually when he caught his breath somewhat - once he realized that I wasn't going to try to even discuss the situation with him - he decided to unhook the system, and take it into the bedroom to try it out on the TV in there. 

Thankfully, his playstation 2 turned out to work on the TV in the bedroom ! Thank God ! He wasn't completely 100 % happy that it worked out in there, but after awhile of playing one of his playstation 2 games in there, he finally calmed down even more.
