Another month of weekly IVIG

Yes, the neuro has ordered another month.  I am feeling stronger, except when out in the humidity.
We've been battling severe weather for the last few weeks and we've had 3 storms that have brought trees down in the yard, so far not causing property damage.  My poor husband.  I wish I could be of help but the humidity is too much for me, much less hauling would and brush around.
The cardiologist feels my heart is fine, just bad meds in ICU and low potassium as always.  How much Kale can a girl eat?  Must drink more cocoanut water, but hate given calories up for that.
My lung function is at 64%, almost to mildly impaired.  Maybe if I reach mildly impaired I will get to cut down on these IVIG treatments.
Going to the fair with the grand ones today.  It is a bit cooler and a bit less humid.  Tomorrow is to be bad again, so will try.  I can always crawl in the car with the air on and read.  I've thought on this a lot.  The sensible thing would be to not go, but darn it all, I am not dead!  I need my babies fix
Sharing some hail with you that fell on my parade this past week.

The weather has been relentless. The heat does not help anyone, much less someone battling MG. I might try to go to the fair tomorrow, too. We can\'t be shut of life now, can we? I hope you will soon get to where you don\'t need weekly IVIG. Seems the time spent getting the treatment would be almost as much as the days benefitting from it. Thinking of you and hoping you get stronger.

Debbie and elinor: take ice packs and put on your pressure points. It really does help. I live in the Deep South, so it\'s been hot here for many weeks. Take care. (I even put one in my bra...it works!)

Have fun. I know that baby fix feeling. And if the heat gets to much find a indoors exhibit to have a rest.

That is \"serious hail\"....I uUnderstand the feeling of the tree work. I have been relegated to just doing spotting when trees are felled or very light duty on the come along...Not the way I wish it were tho.

Do be careful in this heat the fair. If you don\'t have a cooling vest maybe tuck some ice packs in whatever way you can to keep cool. I am sure it would help. Also going maybe closer to sun down...Hope the family enjoys all the fun that is awaiting there. Find places to rest and hydrate or better yet take them with you.

I am glad your heart is ok and will hope for more improvemtns....Country Fair Hugs! Marie

My sea-faring relatives would say:
\'\'Ahead-Slow Revs, Aye.\'\'

Meaning: easy does it!
I understand seeing the kids!
They sure lift the spirits!

oh my word. Hail! The size of golf balls.

Deb, Becca had potassium infusions before IVIG for a few months. Not sure the specifics so you might contact her.

You have had your share of bad weather! Your poor trees (and hubby).

Thinking of you!
Hugs!
