Another goodbye

My step great grandma passed away a few hours ago....odd way to explain my relationship to her, she's actually my ex step great grandma......she was a little lady with a strong hispanic accent. She was wonderful and funny and strong. But, what set her apart is that she always treated me as if i were truly her family, even after my mom divorced my step dad. She was the only one in my step family that was really nice to me growing up through my parent's tumultuos marriage and just as much, she loved my oldest son.I will always remeber how she said my name, not lind-sey, but lin-see. She nick named my son "chucky", which was actually very endearing...lol. My oldest was a terror as a toddler, though still very sweet.I will remember how she cooked and cleaned as if it were her art and how sweet her voice always was, even when she was mad as hell.
