Another day!
Grateful for the day.
I'm thinking about a woman I work with. She's a cashier (while I work in the bakery.) She's kind of a battle axe.
Everything must pass by her stern judgment. She doesn't like to betray a light heartedness but I know deep down she has a nice side.
I'm just trying to make sense of her and another person in my life who is like that. I suppose I am kind of like that too in a sense? We have our peculiarities?? I don't know why I have to think about a global kind of reckoning. We're all individuals.
Just gotta deal with that. Be strong enough to deal with it. I don't know what I'm trying to say. I hope I'm not being an a$$h@"". My way of making sense of the world. It's all good.
Nevermind! Have a good day guys!!

I’’m kind of just thinking in terms that we all create systems in our lives to deal with it. I’m thinking to ask myself about her is ‘what happened ?’ ‘What happened to her and why does she structure her life this way.?’
I’ve got my own way of dealing with life as my reaction to it. Peace.
Good morning, Mark! I'm sorry you have to work with someone who is difficult. In my experience, people have a hardened exterior when they've been hurt in the past. It could also be that she grew up with someone (mom, dad, etc..) who was a battle axe or extremely judgmental. We are all products of our environment. I've found that kindness goes a long way in dealing with these types of people. They often need it. Hugs, and have a great day!
peace
thanks guys!
as it happens, markus questionarius, you have another old battle axe in your life that you, perhaps, have tried to understand. "battle axe" is among the nicer things i have been called by co-workers. garumphing and harumphing is my way of maintaining proper social distances. how nice i am about my battle axing depends entirely upon how well my proper social distances are respected. the promise of pulling back a bloody stump is my personal favorite way of handling sexual harassment. HR thanks me for the more efficient, strictly personal handling of the problem. my personal favorite co-workers are the ones who quietly respect those social distances and let me get the job done. i ain't here to socialize, toots. the co-workers i absolutely adore are the ones who take my harumphing with a grain of salt and maybe even harumph back on occasion.
a REAL bitch will bite if she needs to, but tail wagging is mucher funner. ~the beaten crazy bitch wolf
thanks for calling me toots. :)
