Another Birthday Gone
Well, I survived Josh's 20th Birthday. I want to thank all of you for your hugs and birthday wishes for me and Josh. It means the world to me that you remember my Josh even when family members (in laws) do not remember or do not acknowledge. I took yesterday off and spent it with my two brothers who I love dearly but they are grown babies that love to drink to much. Which I just do not understand. Yesterday they did great. We visited Josh, had lunch, visited my granny and had a great day. Last night 16 people gathered in Josh's favorite resturant for dinner and celebrated his day. Came home and crashed. Today in the slumps. My brothers hung out today and cooked dinner for us. But, they were fussing. Drinking. One drunk. Etc. Etc. One didn't eat. I just don't understand it. They both were raised in a home of drinking and fighting. Why do they do this??????? But anyway they are grown. Can't worry about them. Love you all.

I\'m glad you were able to share Josh\'s birthday dinner with 16 people. :) I\'m sorry your brothers were drinking too much. :(
Hang in there and know that we are all right here for you!
Sending love and birthday hugs ~ Debbie

Sounds like the celebration honoring Josh at his favorite restaurant was a big success. That sure shows lots of love for Josh & you. You are right about the brothers...they are grown, you can\'t worry about them...if you can help it. Hugs, Kim
The birthday dinner sounds nice, and brothers...well,,, at least they talk to you...mine don\'t, but that is another story. peace, Nora
You know I was their in spirit - and I\'m right there with you wondering how people don\'t learn from their upbringings. Much love to you my friend, glad you survived and hope Josh\'s sunshine fills your heart today. Hugs and prayers, Lynette ~ Matthews mom
So glad you made it through...I am continually amazed at what we CAN and DO survive...love to you...Karen
I am glad you made it-gee, too bad the relatives have to make it harder!! Seems to be a recurring theme among us Moms. I love it when no one calls because they don\'t want to make me feel bad-like I feel so great-but I think no one really knows what to say or do so they just ignore-less painful for them. But you know we were all thinking about you and loving you and John and sending much love to Josh on his birthday. Love, Sandy
