Another Angel Day done
13 years. It is hard to get my head around it. It was made easier thanks to friends, both near and far - we had dinner with our dear neighbours and good friends. We had dinner together and toasted Lisa and Jack (our friend who passed away last month).
I am still down as I remember that Lisa, Harvey and Cevyn were booked to come home for Christmas - for the first time since they moved away. Lisa was soooo excited! Her gift sat on the shelf in our closet for a few years before I gave it to Cevyn. The gift was a set of Iikalaa candles (a Finnish Brand) that Lisa had seen and admired in the summer. I went to the shop and bought them and had them gift wrapped for Christmas. Note to self: if you want to give something to a dear one, do it and don't wait.
So I am trying to be positive and focus on this Christmas. We have invited friends for dinner on the 10th so I dug out a few decorations yesterday. No tree just a few doo dads to brighten the place.
We head for Ottawa on the 19th to celebrate with Cevyn and the twins.
Christmas 2022 - the 13th year without Lisa.
I miss her always and love her forever.

Anniversary days are always good to get over one way or another - there's no way of getting our heads around it, really. It's 13 years and yesterday all in one for you. I dedicate that day to myself and David - and let it wash over me. I'm glad you got to share it with friends and made through another year. Take care ~ Joanna x
Big hugs of love and understanding~
