Annoyances from covid19
This new social order is having extra effects that are either extra money or extra work. There is the social distancing and shortages sure, but now there is no price comparing or frugality, you just grab it when you see it and price be damned. Nothing more annoying than thinking you won’t have to go to the shops again then remember you forgot coffee. Damn.
The other annoyance is getting home with shopping. I’m lucky I have a separate entrance to the bathroom from the rest of my house. So in there washing hands first singing happy birthday twice. I strip off my clothes and put them to be washed and put my dressing gown on. Then bring the grocery bags to the back door and unload bit by bit instead of bringing them inside like I used to, all the while hoping the actual products haven’t been sneezed or coughed on before I picked them up. Wash hands again after handling them just in case and hope I don’t have to handle them again for 48 hours, by which time the virus should be dead. Shoes are left outside in case there’s something on them. Reusable shopping bags are pegged on the clothes line for solar sterilisation. And I thought shopping was a pain before the virus, now I’m wishing for the good old days back. Can I have that cup of tea now that I’ve been dying for?

I'm officially done with live shopping and feeling motivated in the extreme to abandon our global economy, all together. Let the masked phantoms have ^it^. I still ain't afraid of the microbe, but all the frightened humans are terrifying. For now, Curbside pickup is the closest I will get to anybody in a mask. For your own safety, fearful one.
Exceeding social distancing demands of The New World Order. Hunkered to the bunker and waiting ^it^ out.
I live in a small town & one of the stores is very strict with a series of questions, how many they let in, no reusable bags in store. That is about the only store I feel safe in. I live in cottage/tourist country & am very worried with all these people coming back. They have been asked by the Premier that now is not the time to go the cottage/trailer. If they get sick they will overwhelm our hospitals. 30 have died in one of the nursing homes.
Very little sales, prices have gone up. I am fully stocked, however, fruits & veggies are expensive to buy. Hugs!
