Anniversary plans....

So I am soooo unbelieveably happy to say that the hubby and I have decided that we are going to celebrate our first anniversary at home simply enjoying the simple things.
We are going to do nothing but watch t.v and watch movies all day. Nothing to crazy and the best part is that we are going to turn off all phones and just be. i know it may be seem like a fairytale fantasy but don't we all like to indulge into a fantasy. A place where everything is as it should or meant to be. Don't we imagine a moment or revisit a time where everything made sense? I am taking the advice of those who have travelled this saddened road before and commiting these remaining days to memory so that when it all feels hopeless they will be the base to hold me up.

These remaining days will not be an end just a pause for something better to follow it. We were meant to be together and for some reason we are meant to go through this. So instead of being sad and dour, I will strive to be the light when all may seem dark. ^_^

I am feeling way better than I have in awhile.

That\'s a good and happy plan. Glad to hear it.

It is hard waiting for that awful day they leave us. But at least you had time. We didn\'t. He was ripped out of my life, in the blink of an eye. We were on our way to a fun night out. And then it was all gone. No warning. Just gone for who knows how long. We still don\'t know for sure. It\'s been 2yrs. Could be 3 more, could be a year, depending on if they put him in treatment or not. I will not survive 3 more years, especially if I don\'t get my visits back.

Enjoy every precious minute you have with him. Yes make wonderful memories. Cherish every hug, even enjoy going to a home improvement place to look at tools if that\'s what he wants. I hated it before, now I would kill to go look at drill bits. LOL!

Ironically, we were a mess while he was home, and now that he is locked up and not drunk, he has turned back into the wonderful man I met and loved the first moment my eyes saw him. I actually told my friend when I first saw his face, I am going to marry that man. Here thirteen years later, he is in prison, but we love each other very much. Hold on to that love you two have.
