Angry obsessions
I'm having a bedtime filled with angry obsession. Trying to ply the application of what makes me calm down and also focus on wisdom or insight I can have that will help me put my mindset into a self assured kind of structure. I went out for an errand with someone earlier and now I'm obsessing. I just got set off by the visit. I'm also harkening back to a mindset I had at work when a regular customer vexed me. I'm seeing a pattern. I'm realizing we all go through ebbs and flows and ups and downs like this. I just gotta keep at those things that help. I realize some vexing relationships are more powerful than others and I know we're all going through days with moods all different. But the upset which may have different kinds of power in each context. Some at work, some in the outside world... whatever. I'm going to bed now.

I realize we all may have hard to sleep nights so I guess the stumbling block question right now is ‘ok how am I going to deal with it?’
i get downright explosive when i repress my anger. a literal loose cannon. if i don't channel and resolve my anger, somebody is gonna get hurt. anger management has been a HUGE part of my psychotherapy.
one of my favorite anger channels is to visualize the object of my anger --say a vexing customer-- in front of me. for some of my more deeply rooted anger, i might dig up a photo of said offender i then literally point my hoary finger of blame at that visualization and let the anger rip, uncensored and unfiltered. this helps me focus and validate my anger.
i then lift my hoary finger of blame to ponder the three fingers pointed back at me. there is where i most often find my solutions.
sleep tight. make sure the dream bugs bite.
Thanks Arfie! You’re a gem. I am so lucky we’re friends here.! :)
