In about 2002, I think... Andy left this note for me:
"Dear Mother,
Thank you for being so strong and alive throughout these years. I watched you as you stood steady through the rain and the darkness, always alight, always A Light for us to look to. I try my best to be that way.
Love, Andy"

I am thinking about Soos, and her anguish.
I am thinking about my neighbor who just lost her daughter, and her shock and pain.
I am thinking about my SIL whose son attempted suicide last night.
I am thinking about Abby in Israel and hoping that she has enough rest and sanctuary on her incredible trip to sustain the spirit.
I am thinking about EVERY ONE OF YOU and so grateful for your warmth and light in this circle.

What a beautiful note! A treasure! I know I\'ve made this far because of the bright lights here...the moms who\'ve helped see there can still be light after losing a child. You my dear shine ever so brightly!....as does your Andy!
Thank you for remembering all of us, don\'t forget to take care of yourself. Hugs, Marcai P.S. beautiful note from Andy
How special to have this note from Andy. One thing I am sad about is that Cory wouldn\'t talk about his pending death. He denied until he entered the coma. The last two weeks he was unable to speak. I wanted us to have a heart to heart. That message from Andy is short but says so much. Place in near to your heart forever and ever. Peggy
What a tribute to YOU from your Andy....it is always precious to be able to have something in its tangible intangibleness to have for memory\'s sake and the wealth of love to be forever....Your list is a sad indicator of all the grief in the world...but with God we can always overcome and be victors rather than victims.....love,...dale, brandon\'s m om

So much pain around us. I believe that from this \"diversity\" of experience we gain a greater appreciation for joy, but the casualties of life are all too real. Much love, Rebecca

Oh Sarah - this is such a treasure you have found as a reminder of the Great and Gorgeous ANDY! There are many lights in our lives - some shining from far away and some so very close - but all with a place in our hearts! I see you and your light is seated in the wonderful realm of love. Thank you...Suzzanne
