An ocean of emotion

She is not coming back, is she?
Emotions tend to kick in when I really wish they wouldn’t.
All the pieces, the material things are still here, frozen in time reminders of a life I once had.
I need to talk about her and no one wants to talk.
How can she be gone? She was just here and then gone so fast.
Mentally, emotionally and in every way else, I have been stuck in the last 98 days of her life. I want to get unstuck. I had 12,000 other days with her. That is where I would rather spend my time.
My mechanisms for trying to deal with this are not effective. I try to ignore it. Keeping all this inside me is not working. I don’t know how to get it out.
Being by yourself for extended periods of time will mess with you in ways you would never expect. There is no way to prepare for this. Every waking moment now seems to with tears or on the verge of tears. Is this how it is going to be?
“A kiss on the eye” I am so glad I remembered it.
My life has become an ocean of emotion. Every once in awhile I will crest a wave at the top and be able to look around a little, but most of the time I am down where no one can see me. In the dark with no way out.
I miss the warmth of sitting next to someone. I still sit by people, but you always sit a little closer to the one you are with.
