An Intro and my struggle

Depression has really changed me. Sure, I'm still a nostalgia loving individual obsessed with the 90's, a friendly face, and one who would rather take care of a cat than raise children in this current world. The past two, maybe three, months I took off work to deal with bad anxiety issues that have now turned into depression issues. Healthcare is making me go through the hoops to find help and I've hit a wall trying to find the help I desperately need besides a therapist and Psychologist. I am also developing finacial problems due to the company responcible for the paid leave not doing their job and I recently had to resign from my job due to my mental health. I have been trying to get in touch with a case worker to help get what help I need but I have been trying for over two months to get them to respond back to me. Then, if things couldn't get more crazy, my fiance (who is still my friend and I live with) breaks up with me because of my mental health issues and I start discovering horrible things about mother that makes me stop wanting her as a support.

I know, that's a lot. That's the best way for me to make it short.

What is hard about dealing and coping with the depression is I have no friends where I am right now. Trying to find friend my age in central PA is really hard to do. All my friends are Pittsburgh located and it tugs at my heart that I cannot easily communicate with them. Friends are my outlet to talk and not being able to communicate what is going on and try to sort the crappy thoughts never helps me. Trust me, for about over a month I've been in a dark place and my cat has been the only remnder that life isn't so bad. Knowing that my cat needs me, and feeling like that is my only source of feeling wanted, I had to try to find something to bridge the gap in what I am missing as far as self care and talking to people. I am greatful I found this site.

I hope to meet folks and lets see if my life can get a little brighter. (In case you are wondering, I'm slowly getting out of my dark place. I just need to keep moving forward.)
