An Interesting Night

My Rheumatologist had asked me to go to a lecture he was giving to other Rheumatologists on using a “cutting edge” scanner and   procedure to diagnose  Rheumatoid damage earlier than by other means. I was the patient and had my hands, wrists and ankle scanned.
It was very interesting. He had each of the doctors check by examining physically and then with the Scanner. Needless to say, the scan showed up more damage to my hands than was thought.
It brought home to me just how fortunate I am to have my Rheumatologist who is very well-renowned in his field but also such a lovely person.
