an extra day off

my boss at the market texted me and said I have an extra day off (tomorrow) because of the paid holiday

today and she knows that I can earn only so much a week. She is SO nice to me and I really want to 

do my best for her.

I am sitting here right now on the couch..CNN on and Blue hanging with one of his toys. I went for coffee first thing and then went grocery shopping. My budget until 

pay day is something I need to be cautious about. Found some room today for a splurge on coffee.

But now I am sitting here waiting till 10am when a friend's funeral will be broadcast online. It's a weird

way to honor him - but I will be there online in the way that I can. The funeral is in Maryland and I am on the west coast.

I definitely want to go for a walk after it. Maybe I will go and visit my Dad and Stepmom too.

I hope you guys in the US are having a good Memorial Day, and for everyone else out there I hope your Monday

is going good too.
