amazing adventures so far
I havent been online in a while, its been very busy for me here. working 4 days a week with a family of 5 children and being there from 7:30am until 5:15pm daily. I have kept myself very busy. I was also working on schooling, which i did stop during october because it was too much, especially with being pregnant.
My pregnancy was planned, we were trying for a january baby and we were very lucky to concieve the month that allowed us the possibility of a janaury 2014 baby. our due date is dated for January 11th 2014. we are now in january and waiting for the arrival of our beautiful daughter who were going to name "Kassandra Raelynn Jackson" she is going to take her fathers last name, i dont however have his last name but one day will. but i want our daughter to have his name as my last name means nothing to me. so were awaiting our due date, and shes still hanging out in my uterus. were ready for her and she could come anytime now. :)
Still have been off medication now since july 2012. no more hospital trips, and no serious ups and downs. i have had a few but since being pregnant i havent had too many problems (regarding pregnancy or bipolar) which has me feeling very fortunate.
I had some feelings of self harm during beginning of pregnancy, they were rare feelings, but since ive only been completly clean of self harm since about February 2013, i was impressed with myself for being able to resist the urges and triggers. I kept telling myself that i COULDNT hurt myself becuase my daughter is inside me and i need to protect her and if i cant protect myself, i cant protect her. and she needs both mommy and daddy in her life. that got me through any moments i did have. And my boyfriend being aware of all my moods and mental illness it helps to know he was only a message away even if he was at work. our relationship is great.
I have a nephew who is going to be 10 months January 16th. and a neice who will be 1 year old february 25th! so crazy how fast time is flying, i remember the day both little babies were born.
Christmas was good for me, we went to my grandmothers and had christmas dinner with all the family there and that was nice :)
Anyways, guess my update is done, i hope to update everyone shortly after baby girl is here :)
