ALMOST OVER!

Yea!  A 3 day weekend! After that only 4 more days left in school!  Double Yea!  Adam turned 21 yesterday.  We didn't do too much but had to make the official trip to the liquor store.  Tonight Chris, Craig, Adam, myself, and a family friend went out to dinner.  Adam is getting "tanked".  But, he is at home with family and friends.  You only turn 21 once.  Seems to be a bigger deal with "boys".  The family friend is Josh.  He was one of Scott's pallbearers and drove down from the Jefferson City area to spend the weekend.  I am glad.  Scott and Adam had made big plans last year for Adam's 21st.  It has been a little hard on him.  Another of Adam's buddies is here tonight, too.  The plan is for them to get up early and go fishing. HA!  Fishing... maybe, early...probably not.  Chris is hanging out with Adam, too.  I think it is awesome of him.  He is 28 and was invited to a more adult evening but opted to hang out with his brother.  On Sunday we are having a birthday/Memorial Day cook-out.  Boy, has that been a stretch for me!  But, it is not a huge crowd and they are all good friends and family.  Baby steps.....  Tomorrow I am taking Mom to three cemeterys and then going to Scott's on my own. Monday I have nothing really planned except the usual weekend laundry, etc.   Good Grief!!! Adam just came in here and scared me with a LIVE frog!  Some things never change.....  Raising 3 sons has been so much fun.  I act annoyed sometimes but I love and have loved every minute of it!  I have endured tarantulas, lizards, snakes, frogs, etc.  They even put a frog on the wall in my shower once!  Scared the pooh out of me!  No one ever owned up to that one!  There has never been a dull moment around here whether good or bad.  I am trying very hard right now to remember all the good.
