ALMOST OVER
Well It is 7pm,I cried and went through the day some how, wanting to take down any decorations I have up,but did not really care one way or the other, looking out my window as others have family come and go. I went out this morning and visit a grandchild, it is like every body is moving and I am standing still,I prayed that some day I will understand why I lost my daughter ,does it feel like 6 years, no it feels like yesterday, time stands still, I make it i guess with Gods help, Like some one once told me,we do not get out of this life alive ,may tomorrow be a better day.

Dear Shirl, (sis) I am so sorry, I did not know you wrote this journal until 9:45 p.m. or I would have called you, please forgive me. My dear sweet Shirley. i know hon it is hard when a child goes before we do. Someday God will explain why i suppose. I pray the new year brings you peace in your heart and soul. and God contunues to comfort you with love and one day you find yourself feeling joy again. Please never give up hope. God will not leave your heart to suffer. You have been thru a lot , I agree, but i feel like there will be some kind of fairness in the end I know that doesnt help now and i dont really take my own advice well. but im trying with all my heart to help with words to ease your pain. Just know you are loved and let us fill in the cracks til you rise again . You never nneed to suffer alone. Please call me i dont care what time of day or night it is i will reverse the charges and call u right back....tight hugs and a kiss on the forhead.....love your lil sis Leslie

Shirley, the holiday hubbub is pretty \"over the top\" as far as making us feel even more lousy if we\'re \"low.\" I hope that once the regular routine is in place, you\'ll feel a bit better.
I feel that when we die, it\'s not to a place of blackness but into what is truly LIFE...so when that person said \"Nobody gets out of here \"alive\"...I feel like it\'s more like \"Nobody gets out of here until they give up what isn\'t really life...!\"
I wait for reunion with my loved ones, and until then I figure I\'ve just got more work God wants me to do before I can enter Paradise...or I\'d be called Home, too! Hang in there!
Love+Hugs, Donna
