almost midnight......

ever find yourself sitting there......so tired you can't remember how to go to bed?

spaced.....drifting.......not present to win. how long does a body sit there before rebooting?

finally i pushed my weary buns...oops bones into a standing position.  and did the dumb dance.  the final nod to idiots everywhere....

i thought i will just move a couple of things into place, shift a little stuff from here to there.

i moved the cd tower from the living room back into the kitchen next to the actual cd player. 

almost there......yayyyyyy.......whoopsie daisy........cut to the end of Ring Around the Rosie....

ALL FALL DOWN........30 or 40 cd's went crashing down to the floor......cd's slid across the floor.

cases cracked.......and because i'm living the boring life of one, i even had them alphabetized.

when they fell i thought  holy crapcakes, i'm a one time monkey.  booo freakin' hoooooo, poooor pitiful me.

and then i sat down right here. 

at some point i will have to pick them up.  sort them out.  refill the cd tower.  sometime, someday.......but when?

it will remain a mystery.......save some of life's little surprises for the morrow. 

yes heather, i dropped yours also......but they are safe, fine, unbroken so grateful to be able to report some good news before i turn in.

stella is coming tomorrow to clean......the house, the oven.  hope i can bend over to pick them all up before she arrives at high noon!

if the day goes well i get to go to another cooking demo called "Date Night in Spain."  starts at 6......wish we could all go!

p.s. if you're wondering what a one time monkey is....heh heh, i'll explain.  i used to have a friend from central eastern europe.  he used to mix up all of our colorful american phrases......so one day he said he was just a one time monkey........i was so confused, then we finally figured out what he ACTUALLY meant to say.......he meant to say one trick pony.  now you know......i'm a one time monkey.  the end.
