Almost a year

Well in 2 days I will have a full year of sobriety.  I am doing well. I have a job that I actually like to go to. Crazy but I work 55-60 hours a week and I drive 45 minutes each way. I am on my way to taking over the department and there is a certain amount of stress involved that keeps me on my toes just enough to keep me in interested without feeling burnt out.  I just got my own place again and it is a bit intimidating. Living by myself again makes me a bit nervous cause I know how things were when I last had a place to myself. But I truley believe that it will be different this time. I tend to be a bit oc at times. The new place is absoulutely spotless! Yesterday my daughter was over and I was doing some stuff in the bathroom when she walked in. I asked her to grab me a bar of soap from under the sink. But instead of just saying "would you get me a bar of soap",  I said " get me the top left bar of soap". She reached in and grabbed one and I said, "I told you the top left one" when she grabbed the bottom left one. She grabbed the top left one and then I told her, "well straighten the other one back out". What the hell is wrong with me?! She looked at me like I had lost my mind! I could of tried to justify myself but she was right. I have gotten almost every aspect of my life in order, I guess that includes how the soap is organized under the sink. What a nut job! Anyway, now for the good stuff. I met a wonderful woman a couple months ago. She is everything I ever wanted in a companion but never knew existed. She is kind, compasionite, a wonderful mother to her children, goofy, sexy, funny, playful, well spoken, a hard worker, smile a lot, laughs a lot, did I mention sexy? She is absoutly amazing in so many ways. I wake up thinking about her and I go to bed thinking about her. My daughter and her talk to each other like they have known each other for years. I have always said I will never ever get married again, but if things continue this way, anything is possible. Not saying I am ready for that but the comfert level is like I have never felt.  Ok, got to be going. There is lots of life out there to live so I better get back to it.
