all the moods, all the dissonance I’m going to see it as beautiful

i don't know how people do it....but we do...

there are so many twists and turns to life

so many moods, so many open and closed doors

the hierarchy and 'village' we're born into.

I suppose we just have to keep fighting forward...

I've had so many work experiences - I feel like if

were to make yet another change - it would be such a failure

on my part -

but as Nikki once said "we have different 'eras' to out lives"

does anyone want or is able to talk openly or in DM about

how many jobs they've had? How they feel about their careers?

Is it something that defines them or is mostly about the community

of the work place?

Do they feel connected and attached?

Does their life feel like it has an integral theme?

I think because of my illness it's a bit like being schrodingers cat in my own life.

I've been a woodworker for most of my life, with a special focus on crafting doors and windows. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working on some remarkable projects..... building doors for the Reagan Library, crafting windows for George Lucas Studios (yes, of Star Wars fame), and creating a massive sliding glass door for Bob Vila of This Old House fame, just to name a few.

These days, I'm semi-retired and sell primarily online. Most of what I offer are beautiful, high-quality woods that I've come to know and love throughout my career. What I enjoy most isn't just the wood itself, but the incredible people I've met from around the world—George from Australia, Alex from Sochi, Russia, Rory from South Africa…the list goes on. The internet has not only allowed me to continue sharing my passion, but it's also connected me with a global community of kind, inspiring individuals. It's been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

I apologize, I didn't write that. I had AI write it for me. I have been fooling around with it lately...I mean it's all true. I just punched in the information and it made it sound like a job resume er something so I just wanted to be truthful with that.

That’s wild and kind of kooky you came off as incredibly eloquent and passionate.

Yes we have eras to our lives. I don’t know what to call my current era except “how to climb out of debt again.”

Having said that, jobs serve a function. We all want satisfaction in our day to day life but jobs are complicated when it comes to identity.

Maybe along the lines of eras in our lives we also have ‘facets of ourselves.’ When dealing with mental health I think we overcompensate to prove we are worthy and capable so we feel we have to be a full completed portrait- or maybe it’s simply more about our narratives and making sure we are comfortable with our own narrative rather than the one others create around us.

Just thoughts
.Hugs.
