ALL IS WELL AGAIN!!!

    This is a picture of ragingfog and myself when I had a visit with her in Kitchener recently.I’m in the pink again, yeah!!! I apologize for my extended absence from the site. I am not usually out of touch for so...long. I have had many of you expressing concern about my lack of communicating. Thank you for your concern but I a really and truly fine. I have been away to ontario as you know and this was a terrific trip. And I have been extremely busy since my return on Sunday. The usual stuff, unpacking, housework, laundry, groceries. But then the other stuff too; the boys to look after, my clients I shop for, 3 doctor appointments in one week, 2 other appointments etc.then we had some devastating news, the couple that we hang with, well, he is just 46 and he suffered a stroke while I was away. He is able to walk, no paralysis in the body but his speech is slurred and he frequently cannot access the word he wants. At this point, a week later, they really don’t know the cause. He is continuing to have tests and remains in the hospital. So we have been busy with helping out. Just goes to show you had better live in the moment to the fullest because you don’t have a clue as to what tomorrow may bring!!Today I am going to be busy as well. I have the boys as usual. But my friend, the partner of the stroke, needs to have her two year check up on her colon. She had benign tumours removed. She needs to be put under for this and there is no one to help her out afterwards. I am going with her and this will take several hours. I have a good book and a crossword book to take with me. Then it will be time to get the boys.I am trying to find time to work in my gardens and put in my new plants and get out the decorations but time just gets away from me. I could use about another 6 hours each day to get things done. Oh, well, I am not going to get my shorts in a knot over it. It will get done when it gets done!!Hubby and I fenced in a large portion of our backyard. Now we can just open the door and let the dogs go free. No more leashes!!! they love running free. We are going to cover the entire area with 3/4 inch stone wash gravel and have patio stones to make walkways and I will place urns of flowers throughout. This will cut down drastically on the dirt and grass that gets drug in. Got to order the gravel...going to be a big job moving it all but the end result will be worth it.I have started a major diet (again!!!, my life story). This time I have joined several exercise classes at the ymca; 2 classes for core building, 1 pilates, 2 chair yoga and 2 aqua fit. I am determined to get the weight off even if I am so sore I can’t move. Lol !!My new avatar picture was taken on vacation while I was visiting ragingfog, she is one of our ds members. We have been friends for years, she use to live here. It was so great to see her and she looks wonderful. Looks even better than 10 years ago!! She is a super lady!!Well, I guess I have made up for not being on line for awhile. Sorry about the saga but just thought I needed to bring you up to speed.I will really try my best to answer journals and get back on track.Be well. Debbie
