ah jeez.
so um yeah........yesterday i was home puttering. not feeling great, but good enough to sit in the living room, watch tv and play art girl. which is so nice. need to remind myself to be GRATEFUL!!!!
i am making a piece called "so many faces".......it's almost done. my medium is inexpensive sketch paper and colored pencils. it is not fancy but it is satisfying.
i grew tired of coloring and thought i would bake some cookies.......oatmeal chocolate chip with pecans.
i put little cookie dough balls on the pans and then to keep the kitties from getting into the unbaked cookie dough........wanted to hide the tray from their little paws. normally i would slide the unbaked tray into the frig.......or just stay in the kitchen and make sure things were safe. but nooooooo,
instead i slid the tray into the micro wave .......went back into the living room.......sat down and waited for the timer to ding letting me know fresh yummy cookies are ready to remove from the oven............
the timer went off, the cookies came out..........great.
seemed funny to me that this batch only made 2 dozen cookies......but beyond that my brain furnished me with zero additional info.
nada. soooooooo this morning i get up and decide to make something hot to drink. fill a cup with water to heat in the micro wave oven and open the door..........
egads, there are the rest of the cookies............gone bad.
me and my brain fog.........sing along with me to the tune of me and my shadow.
everywhere i go you gotta know it's me and my brain fog.............sigh. i suck.
oh well. the end plus hugs. live from sparrow cottage.
doh...........don't let brain fog steal your joy........i'm trying to think of this as caloric management via the brainfog gods.

OMG, I totally do that kind of thing all the time!! My kids get so frustrated with me because I am forever making them food and forgetting to give it to them. It\'s frustrating, but I\'m learning to give myself a pass. I mean, I didn\'t do it on purpose. Love you.
Almost every morning I get up to see what surprises have managed to make their way to the kitchen counter. Sometime during the night things that belong in the refrigerator manage to return to the counter, or did they? Seriously, the evenings are the worse but occasionally similar events occur in daytime as well. Since the elves no longer need to make shoes, I believe they become bored and make mischief instead.
oh no. I do stuff like that all the time. I think we just have so many thoughts running around in our brains, we can\'t possibly keep up with EVERYthing. I like \"the caloric management via the brainfog gods\" explanation best though. .Lots of love and hugs and cookies from the bakery. Haha
I made some cookies once and when I went to check on them in the oven they were no where to be seen.Just vanished or disintegrated ??.To this day I have never worked out what happened lol! Brain fog worries me.Today I spent nearly two hrs at the kitchen table ( a new one actually and I love it).Anyway I had to do bookwork for our tax return. We always get an extension so this was for last years return.I had to focus hard and continually add numbers and balance it all etc.Frank never does the books so I\'m the one who is left with the responsibility.I had to check everything several times the gross income ,all the expenditure etc, ,creditors , personal drawings and so on.My brain was frazzled by the
time it was all finished.Brainfog to the max and I have been here in my room all afternoon trying to recover.I feel like someone hit my head with a hammer. My brain is spinning and I almost feel like I have amnesia.I was supposed to try and drive a bit today but I would be dangerous and probably wouldn\'t find my way home.I find it quite scary really. Ha ha your brainfog saved you from those extra calories. I guess we have to stay light hearted about it.I think it is sometimes worse than other times. Drugs can do it too. Only I didn\'t have any. Otherwise I could blame it on that. Hugs to ya.xo
