afternoon conversation. TGIF ya'll!

Hi Ya,
This week has been odd.  Sleeping a lot a lot a lot.  Grateful for any awake time I'm given.
Watered about half the plants.  Got shaky legs so I came back in. Doublebagged the one bag of garbage until I can take it down the hill.......don't want any PU Problemos.  Not with it enough to back the car down the drive.  Know my legs can't navigate the hill.  Glad I'm alert enough not to do stuff I shouldn't.
Have I been out of the house this week other than today?  Think the last time out was last Saturday and then I crashslumped after that.  Did I tell ya I found a pretty old trumpet?  For cheap, cheap, cheap.  At a really old small thrift store in the next country town north of me.  I love that old town.  Wish I could live there.  Got a cool old pair of binoculars too.......have to figure out how old they are.  The trumpet is an old copper & brass Conn......not sure of the date, the case is crazy old, but they may not be from the same time period.  I know I have brass polish somewhere, but no copper polish.  A nice easy project to work on in the evenings when I'm typically more awake.  Good exercise for the arms too.  It still plays.......sweet! (the kid at the shop played it for me, all I can make it do is squawk!!!!)  If I had found these things at an antique store they would've been priced out of my league.......feel so lucky to spy them.  Saw one thing I surely did want......but it was priced high.........an old telephone from my childhood, the old cloth covered cord, it still worked.  But I didn't wanna part with $85.  I picked up the handset and automatically started dialing my phone number from the house I grew up in.  All the things I can't remember, but my fingers still knew the way home............
If I could figure out a way to drag home a kiddy pool I would about now.  I want a bird bath for my sparrow own.........it's gonna be a hot sunny week-end & I wanna splash around!  Maybe I could get a small intex pool for the patio and a small pump to blow it up?  I need a pool with a padded bottom........that sounds wrong.......but I need it to be padded so I can enjoy my duck time.  I've never lied about being a kid......so this shouldn't surprise ya too much.  have you seen those blow up make believe car washes for kids?  you can ride your trike or hot wheels through a blow up drive through pretend car wash that hoses the kids down good........i wanna be 4 right now and run though one!
Wham-O Slip N Slide Splash Car Wash It's a car wash for kids! Roll through, walk through, run through, and even bicycle through!First get washed with a rotating roller, then get rinsed by the water blaster as you exit!Rotating ScrubberSpray RinseDrying CurtainsConnect the hose for wet summer fun!
If I do go out it will be in search of some fresh melon........salad goodies and something to broil.  I don't have a grill anymore.......but the broiler does a good job and it's fast too.  Wishing and hoping, the closest grocery is 3 or 4 miles.  It's the one I rarely go to cause it's the most expensive, but the shorter distance may help me make a round trip for some quick fresh veggies.  Something to think about for tomorrow.
It's sunny and clear.......the sun is brilliant.....the wind is kicking up a great breeze.  Time to go lie down again.  hugs...........miss ya.  Thanks for being my touchstone, I don't wanna disappear......sometimes crashes make me feel like my outline is fading.  one more hug........take care!

Rest up Sparrow. Your wonky body wants you to rest. No more shaky legs. Rest up for theat kiddy pool. I use to buy a kiddy pool just to splash around in. When I lived in Mo. When hubby was a drill sgt...I had a small pool with the plastic sides & liner. I would put my lawn chair right up to the pool. Put my legs in it, out at an angle & let my son & niece & nephew slide down my legs like a slide. Only problem was the next day my lower back & legs were in such pain. My nephew weighed much more than my skinny son & niece. I went to the doctor...he asked if I was lifting anything heavy??? I explained about my nephew who weighed allot more than the other kids. I told him I didn\'t have the heart to say no to him. The doctor said, no more lifting a 100 lbs!! :). Sent me off with pain pills. But boy did the kids have FUN!!!
Melon yummy I think I will get me some. I love melon!!!
Please say a prayer for my M-I-L, she is in the hospital. She\'s bleeding but the doctors haven\'t found the sorce yet. She had a blood transfusion today. She is 87 yrs old. Prayers for all. Love ya xo

I remember my old number, my boyfriend\'s number, and my BFFs number too. I miss those old phones with the dial. But they sure were heavy back then. The old trumpet sounds like a great find and polishing it sounds like a fun project! My kids just loved their slip and slide. That car wash looks fun too!
I hope you enjoyed your delicious melon feast!
Sending you lots of thoughts of healing energy with lots of love attached!
