shame on me that it has been so long since i have checked in on this grand damme of music. at 83, she appears quite active and good-looking, to boot. the broadway musical about her career, "beautiful" launched its road tour last month.
Arfie, I saw “Beautiful” on stage at my local theater. It was so interesting to learn things about her early years, like songs she had written for other groups. I didn’t know she co-wrote “One Fine Day” for the Chiffons and “The Loco-Motion” for Little Eva.
