Yes anger is like taking poison and wanting the person you are angry with to die....
If I don't hold my anger in check it comes out sideways and always back to me. Anger will certainly make you feel sicker than usual. I let go of anger by attempting to do a chore which gives immediate gratification as in cleaning a bit.
Also journaling and doing Self-inquiry is extremely helpful to purge anger.
Peace
Resentment results from pent up anger. Let it go
I AM IN NEED OF SUPPORT AND GOOD HONEST FEED BACK. I HAD RNY IN JAN OF 2012. THE FIRST YEAR WENT GREAT. THEN AFTER THAT THERE WAS SOME REAL BAD FAMILY STUFF WHICH AFFECTED THE JOB I BEGAN DRINKING AND FINALLY AFTER 3 YEARS OF A MESS HEALTH WISE I THEN HAD A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN. I HAVE BEEN 16 MONTHS SOBER. I HAVE NOW BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH FIBROMYALGA. I AM TRYING TO GET BACK ON TRACK. I HAVE REGAINED 60# AND I AM SO AFRAID THAT I HAVE RUINED THE SURGERY AND I DONT KNOW IF IT CAN BE FIXED. JUST NOT SURE AT THIS POINT WHAT MY NEXT STEPS SHOULD BE. I COULD USE A FEW FRIENDS AND IDEAS. I AM ALSO A VERY GOOD LISTENER. THANK YOU MARCIA
I feel anger is one of our emotions, like all the others. To me, it's a matter of learning how to
deal with it and even transform it in a constructive way. I do like the quote and what people
have said. How to let go of it. I am feeling too that it's just as unhealthy to deny it or pretend that
it isn't there either.
