Aerial Pesticide Spraying Tonight
2145 UTC
Got up early today, got some brush cleared and ready for shredding. Did some laundry too.
Lots of news...two arrests in the murder of the local holistic doctor. Both men from Missouri, one was best friends with the doctor's husband. The investigation is "ongoing".
Aerial spraying of my neighborhood is scheduled for tonight...nothing I can do about that.
Tropical storm Erica is headed this way, possibly. It's too soon to tell what will happen, it could still fizzle out. Nothing I can do about that either.
I'm not feeling well still, I got really sick after working this morning. I might not have drunk enough water in my rush to finish before it got too hot to work. It was hot and humid. But it's raining now, and the air is cooling down. I think I'll go watch the local news on TV, there's a new advisory on the storm. I've got my plywood and the special clips all ready to go in case we get high winds predicted. Each piece is labeled for the window opening it fits.

Hope you don\'t have to board up your house and that the storm is more entertaining than burdensome. Glad it\'s cooling down for you.... Since it\'s raining you can rest up, hydrate and catch a decent movie or something on the tube. Feel better...
There\'s nothing on broadcast TV for tonight. They never show movies anymore. Seems like you have to pay for everything now.
I get novels from the library and read them on my ebook reader, that keeps me out of trouble.
Couldn\'t believe I was hearing about crime in your area on the news last night, all the way up here! Goodness. What a mess down there, Richie!
I\'m watching the storm predictions. They seems to feel it will fizzle out tomorrow, but then gain strength on Monday. It\'s gonna be an hour at a time with this storm. Here we go! It\'s hurricane season!! I know you\'re ready. Hope this one just slides on by! xo
Hi Richie.Your hurricanes are similar to our cyclones here during our hot tropical summer and wet season.I think I have become a little complacent with cyclones after living here for 30yrs.They often head towards Cairns but fortunately seem to always turn and end up hitting North or South of us.One year we had a monster one and they expected it to hit and even flew in hundreds of body bags.It was the hugest thing they had ever seen on the radar.Again it turned just in the nick of time and a small county town south copped the full force.Strangely there was only one fatality. Cyclones, crocodiles, deadly jelly fish from May to October, a high crime rate for the population size are negatives in living here.I also find that in more extreme environments people often seem to be harsher too. I definitely don\'t belong here and should never have stayed all these years.Stupid thing to say now.
I\'m glad to hear something is finally happening with that murder investigation.
I did end up reading about Cecil too.Such a sad story and such cruel and ignorant behavior.
Well I do hope the hurricane misses you or just fizzles out, especially since you are not feeling so well Richie. When you mentioned the name Erica I flashed back to an old friend called Erica from many moons ago.She had long red hair and a gentle heart. No idea where she went to.So many people who come and go during our lives and just seem to disappear. So many pages and stories of this one life.Time seems to be an illusion . I\'m rambling on . I\'m so tired and so lost. All I want is sleep tonight.Just a deep natural sleep full of dreams to help heal my weak body.I would settle just for that and ask for nothing more.
Ok better go.Glad you got a few things done despite your low energy Richie.Yih are an inspiration to me, truly you are.Hope the aerial spraying doesn\'t effect you .Bye Love to you. Diane.
The spraying always affects me, Di...it\'s just a question of how much. They spray Dibrom from the planes...if you look it up you\'ll find out how nasty it is.
Sounds like we\'re in the same kettle of fish, total exhaustion. I hope you got a good night\'s sleep when you read this comment.
The storm did fizzle, Darla...all watches and warnings are discontinued. We\'ll just get some rain.
Sorry you are still not feeling well. I worry about you being there alone. Watching the news this morning they are predicting a hit on the West Coast of FL. Lot of water, so take care.
I\'ll be OK, SB. We\'re used to oceans of rain this time of year. I always think it\'s a little strange when it\'s treated like a disaster when someplace in the rest of the country gets four inches of rain. To us that\'s just a normal thundershower.
West Palm Beach once got over two feet of rain in 24 hours. That did cause some problems.
