Advice for depositing your late spouses income tax refund into the account

I am seeking advice for depositing my late husband's income tax refund into the bank account as he died intestate or without a will.  Is it complicated?  I got the refund today and want to deposit the cheque tomorrow.  I live in Richmond, BC Canada.  I have to deposit it into his account.  I just wanted to know if it was hard to do or easy.
