Adventures at the DMV

I tried three times to get my drivers license corrected - name change, gender change - at the DMV in my current county of residence. No matter what proof or paperwork, letters, etc. I took, they ALWAYS had an excuse to reject and refuse to perform the updates I needed in order to get a job, regain access to my bank account, etc.
I even went in with a PRINTED-OUT section of the state's DMV website, listing the requirements for what I was trying to get done - AND they STILL refused!
How did I handle it? I smiled politely, told them they were guilty of discrimination and harassment, then walked out when THEY got upset. Then, I went to another county, walked into THEIR DMV office - with all the EXACT SAME ID and paperwork, letters, etc. - and in less than 30 minutes, I had my name and gender markers changed, my temporary copy of my drivers license, and my new, updated one on the way to me via mail. I also reported the DMV site that had refused to comply with the state's laws.
I don't expect anything to come of it - but I feel better for having filed a formal complaint against them.
Now, legally, I am male! *does happiness dance*
Once my drivers license arrives, I plan to celebrate! Then update things at my bank, the VA, and a few other places - and return to looking for work once more.
Eventually, I'll save up the money for bottom surgery,... the reconstruction part .... but until then, I am basically done, just taking T and riding the wave of second puberty.
