adjusting to the new form of T
Ok, I have now had my second injection of T, after being on the Tgel for over 2 years, almost 3 years. It is an adjustment. The first few days after I take it, I am more "snarlly", and more prone to just DO things, instead of thinking them through first. By the time I am getting ready for the next dose, I am feeling "run-down" and slightly depressed. I don't like the gap time between doses, the recurring depression days as one dose wears off before the next dose can be taken,.... It is unpleasant, like returning to a manic-depressive state all over again.
Giving myself the actual shot is less of a problem than I had first thought. The first time I was having to figure it all out, never having given myself a shot of any kind before. This second time, it went a lot easier.
