Accepted It

After much consideration over the weekend, I turned in my resignation today.  I  told them the truth as to why I was leaving: Hearing problem.  I have a  speech discrimination problem  that makes it hard  to understand what is said even with hearing aides.  Normally, I study on my own, never relying on classroom time, but due to the industry I was in, they insisted that nothing printed leave the building.

Anyhow, it's for the best.  I really like the job, but didn't need it.  Just wanted it.  So I'm back to semi-retirement.  On the way to work my temp company called and said they wanted me to interview today for a job.  I did it.  So, we'll see.  Temp work is what I really wanted.  I just happened to stumble into the job I quit, and found it was a good career.  Then I got all excited even though I still only planned to keep it for two years.

I just stumbled into the last job I had and was with it for five years. I took an early retirement and even have a life long pension out of it and got a new mountain bike as a gift. Not bad huh? Well, temp work it is. I hope you enjoy it.
