Acceptance

The end of the prior week and the beginning of the next.  I have discovered many things over this short amount of time that I realize still need to be looked at within my own personal journey.  As I struggled with decisions and looking back see how many were made (right ones and wrong ones) on my own issues, my own need for acceptance, respect and to be recognized (not invisible).  As I struggled to post and relate these issues when they came up, and still felt invisible and like they weren't quite important enough somehow.  Gosh, it has really been an eye opener for me.  I have always believed that everything, no matter how good and no matter how tragic, happens for a reason.  I can see that after going along well for quite some time and nothing really coming up to test where I am in my progress, that I now have a better idea.
I have realized that in just a 24 hour period, I have gone out of my way to be accepted by people that I really do not even know.  I have seen that I have been hurt by people that don't even really know me.
I have also had my perceptions of a person switch from one extreme to the other within about 30 seconds.  I guess that this scares me more than anything else, as far as my future.
I am still struggling a lot with my origin of injuries.  I am not sure if it is denial or just not clear to me yet.  I am, however, continuing to reflect and learn and grow, and for now, I guess that is the important thing.
