A Year On from Sept 2016

This month marks a year for me having to wear a nappy to bed every night and despite a program of urologist appointments I can't remember the last time I had a dry night, and I can't help at times to wonder if I'll every get out of them when going to bed again. But does it get easier over time having to wear a nappy?

i guess so. For the first six months I hated it, I hated putting it on, how it felt, and would put it off by having late nights, but now it's becoming more of a routine when going to bed. I do find the mornings though can sometimes be difficult waking up to that inevitable feeling of having used them. I'm not sure if I'm accepting it more or if I've just resigned myself to the fact I need them.

Some support I've had from here has and continues to be priceless, and after a year I've also confided in a member of my family who has shown me sympathy, wants to be there for me, and that it's not something to be ashamed of.

Does it get easier over time having to wear a nappy? Yes, when you finally accept it I think it does. But I still hope one day I'll wake up dry again.
