A Veteran of a different time and place

Seems ages ago now, a different life in a different time and place.  I am part of a small minority of Americans who can claim to have BEEN THERE ON THAT DAY.  We all remember the day do we not - a beautiful clear sky and those two wonderful buildings.  They were such a lovely place to work and enjoy too.  We should not forget that aspect of them.  Now they are gone, erased from the skyline by a madman we have yet to find but beware the fury of a patient man or people.  They are in my memory as are the friends I lost to an unknown death in those crowded stairwells and hallways.   2 World Trade Center101st Floorrequisat in pacea.
