A normal day
Well, it is the week end and the weather here is cloudy but the temps are suppose to be in the upper forties. Yahoo!!! Haven’t felt that temp for a long, long time. I hope it is a sign of good weather to come. But I am a Maritimer and I know better than that. It is just Mother Nature yanking our chain. Oh, well, I will enjoy it while it lasts. Hubby is at work in the sugar woods today. This time of year he often has to work Saturday and sometimes Sunday. They still have not got all the trees tapped due to tough going in the woods, over 6 feet of snow with an ice packed surface. Makes for tough going on snowshoes. Then of course, once the sap starts to really run, he may not be home at all as he has to stay up all night with the boiling. Oh, well, I am use to it and have lots to keep me busy.Tomorrow my hubby is going to my friend’s house, the one I was doing the reno for, and he is going to put the framing in the window and start on the door and window mouldings. I will go too. She is excited about getting in there and making it her new bedroom.Well, 23 days and I will be on my way to Miami to get the cruise ship. I am really excited. No snow or cold for seven blessed days. I am also excited that we have a balcony suite this time. I think it will be so... cool to sit out at night and watch the sky and ocean with a nice cup of coffee...or maybe something stronger lol !!Guys, that it for now. It was 17c, here yesterday and if felt so good to feel the warmth of the sun!! But I know too that it won\'t stay that way for long, just a glimsp of what is too come!

God bless you always. Have fun on your trip. Just be grateful you hubby as a good job. We are hurting for work right now. Alex is a broadcast engineer by trade and it is just slowly no work. By me having my grandsons it has really messed up by Medcade. I guess they think I have custody of them. Wrong mistake I just a guardian of the boys. They are still in DCFS custody. Hey Debbie, what positive journal and sooo beautiful too. Florida sounds excitig ;-).
You and your cruises Debbie!!! I am soooo envious! But I hear you on getting away from the cold. Hey I would be happy with the Miami part alone LOL. This winter has indeed been a v. cold one nad looks like more nastiness is on the way. Just can\'t wait to get moved and watch the thaw from our own back yard. Ohh and BTW, what cruise line do you recommend? I remember you posting about a bad one and in a couple of years me and my hubby are planning to take a cruise so any tips you have would be gratefully received
