a new day

things are good guys.

things are making sense

i feel self possessed and better to shift gears

to that end result as well, when I lose track..

craziness is that I have this compulsion to write

and talk about this -

each one of us has a whole world we are 'coming from'

a 'way we would like to see things' in the world

and when they aren't that way or that when we see an unsafety

like somebody's dark side - we ought not submit, give up and live

in the ether of life  but it's important to find self possession

accept that it exists - and find the ability to see .hat we're

all living in a world of our different worlds together! :)

and keep on in our lives. life is good.

Things are good.
More and more, life is making sense. I feel grounded—more self-possessed—and better able to shift gears when I need to. Even when I lose track, I can still see the direction I’m moving toward.

What’s interesting (and a little wild) is this constant compulsion I have to write about all of this, to put words around what I’m experiencing.

Each of us carries our own inner world—our own lens, our own hopes for how things should be. And when reality doesn’t match that vision, or when we sense unsafety in someone else’s shadow side, it’s tempting to shrink back, submit, or drift into the ether and disconnect.

But the real work is staying present.
Finding self-possession.
Accepting that the darker parts exist—both in others and maybe in ourselves—without surrendering to them.

The truth is, we’re all living together inside our different worlds. And somehow, we keep moving forward. Life is good.

(I added this part ) Life feels textured and real and not so intimidating.

I had to learn to practice mindfulness. There are buzzwords in my thinking, reactions to others, mind drifts that I have learned to identify and address as they happen. Not that I can always do something about them. The reactions still can hit hard in their own irrational ways but I'm aware of it. Sometimes I do drift into daydreams. If I'm not one with mal-adaptive daydreaming, I'm likely close. But I really don't care. Not having a normal job and not needing Adderall, I can afford to enjoy my own thoughts. Its not so good when I'm driving and I"m sure other drivers would take a dim view of it, but what can I do. Being in my own world is pretty close to a narcotic. But even then, the mindfulness radar still works and the brain wheels into action. Good sentiments malibumark.

We all want to be heard and relevancy in one way or another I'll warrant.

We want to matter, to not be invisible or dismissed out of hand because of not fitting in the phantasm norm. Considering 1/4 of the U.S. population has a mental illness issue at any given time, that's a lot of people that can be islands in the mist straining to see some friendly light. We have a safe haven here.
