A new day
I conducted a vigil last night until midnight. We don’t have service this morning but I came down for coffee. We’re eating in about an hour. Things are good. I’m thinking about reading letters by Vincent Van Gogh. I really need some wisdom in my life. I know my brother reads the stoics. It’s something of affirmation and something to hold onto.
I had amazing dreams last night that my art was selling well at an auction event and then I was asked to be on camera for a fee which was also surprising but wind in my sails.

I realize the insecurity that I’m dealing with within myself
And yet also the imperative to not just focus on who I should be and be thwarted from acting forward when that's not matched but maybe build in some therapeutics to carry with me.
My Dad has his routine. He reads the Bible every morning and goes for a walk and kind of throws that in your face with how proud he is of that. But rightly so and that’s ok, whatever it takes. I have to have my own therapeutics and routines. Carry my dynamic along.
This is all good progress. I’m afraid I hurt my Dad's feelings yesterday and I saw his frailty. I need to call him and tell him I love him.

There are certain things that I’ve needed to learn and my humility is one of them. We all have different routines and therapeutics for how we keep ourselves going in our days for who we are and how we are in the world. My Dad learned things for his generation and I have learned things for mine. As well we have different strengths and weaknesses and we each learn to provide for that in the way we find is effective. I love and respect my Dad and admire him so much. I am not an alpha but I’m inspired to keep my life running well, best I can.
Calling your dad just to tell him you love him is such a nice thing to do and will brighten his day for sure Marky....Big hug sweetie...xo
Thanks Janet! xx
