a new chapter
The Board and Care where I live is closing down. I looked at the outside of an apartment and the area it is in yesterday afternoon. It's a very quiet suburban peaceful area. I have been blessed by living where I have lived for the past 7 years.
The new area is kind of an island about an hour outside of the major city. I feel like if I 'go it alone' in this area I will really need to get active about finding my own social activity. I would be near my Father and Stepmother and relatively close to the area where I am now (and so near my haircutter and GP Doctor.)
I am also considering to get an apartment in the city with one of my housemates - but the city is so busy - I am nervous that it will be overwhelming to my health. Also my housemate is not so high functioning, she just said to me - she doesn't know if she would be able to cook her own meals. She also said she would want to hire a housekeeper to come in once a week. I don't know if I can afford that.
These are just considerations I have to think about. I have also to consider that I would need to find a new place to work - I mean I would transfer to another market in the brand of market that I work for already. So I would keep with the company
but then work in a different location.
A lot of these considerations and the loose ends I will have to sew up like adress changing for all of my utilities - hiring new utilities etc.. It raises nerves but I have to take it one step at a time - I will go to see an apartment this week - at the end of the week with my possible roommate - and then I also want to look at the apartment where I looked yesterday afternoon.

"It raises nerves" is quite an understatement. Well. . . Maybe not so much. There are enough nerves in every quadrant of our bodies to add up to the ultimate Civil War. . . It's ALLOT of digits to balance.
Continued support while you work it out, Mark. How long do you have to find the new place?
thanks arfie! i have to be in my new place as of January 1 :)
That's a nice margin in my thinking. Long enough for planning purposes but not long enough to drive myself crazy with. I over-analyze like a mad dog when a process drags out too long.
Steady as she goes, Cap'n. You got this.
thanks arfie!
You sound like you have thought things out well and I'm sure everything will go fine. Remember, you have to take care of yourself.
Thanks Becky!
