A message

Feeling sad today, I reached out to a dear friend. He is Catholic, not that it matters, just that there aren't many where I live. He told me that he had seen Cassi. That she was at the foot of his bed, dressed as I had dressed her when she was buried. She told him to watch out for me. She knew that we were friends. I have learned that loved ones will contact us through other people. I have begged for a dream, a sign, anything, but nothing has come to me yet. Two of Cassi's friends have had dreams...dreams with details, so authentic. Now I believe she has sent me a message through my friend. He has no reason to lie to me or toy with my emotions, he is a true friend. I don't understand the rituals of Catholicism, but he told me he and his wife had lit a candle for Cassi, to help her find her way to Heaven. Then he saw her. She wants me to be okay. She was always very protective of me and is still looking out for me. Oh my goodness, how that did my heart good. There I was feeling sorry for myself and she is still trying to see that I am taken care of. It's not the visit I am hoping will come for me personally, but it's the next best thing, and I am ever so grateful. He said he had tried to tell me before, but I told him no, the time wasn't right. I have no recollection of that conversation, but I do know I had not educated myself yet in the ways of the spiritual world. Maybe at the time I would not have believed him, like I said I don't remember any of the conversation. He just told me he had something to tell me and I said not now. Wow...she is looking out for me. My precious baby girl is still protective of me.

As you may know, my younger son had surgery today. It was minor but as moms, we always worry. He did not want me there. He wanted his father, my husband so that hurt me a bit. He said he did not want me to have to drive/ride all that way in the wee hours of the morning. I told him I would be up anyway. I woke up at 3:33, Josh\'s special number. He was saying, \"Ma, it will be okay.\" My older son in heaven is looking out for me, my younger son is fine.

This grief, is a long, hard process and we can\'t and don\'t learn everything all at once. We want to KNOW but it takes time, tears, effort, exhaustion...etc.

You have a special friend, you have an especially special daughter, still loving, still protecting...

Hugs, Leda

Cassi IS keeping a watchful eye out over you and all her loved ones. She is \"here\" \"there\" and \"everywhere\" and such is her path now.

I often receive signs in feathers, my son likes to move things and numbers are significant. 11:11 is one that I have been seeing for quite some time now and it is a special hello for me from Douglas. Some days I will be going about my day and each time I look at the time it will be: 1:01, 2:02 or some other combo like 2:22, 4:44 etc. If it brings comfort and feels like a wink I\'ll take it. :)

There must be something very symbolic about standing at the foot of the bed because my late mom had a visit from her mother standing at the foot of her bed and other moms have experienced this as well. How wonderful for your friend to share when you were ready to hear. Sometimes the signs can be as subtle as a breeze, a favorite song that you hear and at other times they come in like a cosmic two by four. Your Cassi needs you to know that she is whole, healed and is watching out over you.

May today be filled with what you need for your healing and well-being and keep journaling as you are.

My daughter was spending the night with her grandmother, shortly after her grandfather passed away. She said she woke up, to a very cold room and saw her papaw, standing at the foot of her bed. He smiled at her and faded away!! There must be some signifigance of the foot of the bed, but I don\'t know what it is.
I have never seen my late husband or my son. Maybe one day, but there are signs around, that lead me to think they are sending me a sign, that they are alright...
