A lovely weekend
It has been a lovely weekend. On Friday night, the Trivia Night that my husband and another lady (and I, but to a much lesser extent) have been very busy organising for Haiti relief, was very successful in raising funds and a fun night was had by all the people there. Our three daughters all came, and brought friends, to support their Dad's efforts.
Saturday was just a relaxing day at home, as was this morning. Later this afternoon we took all the doings for a seafood BBQ to our eldest daughter's house and we all had a beautiful meal together. As our second daughter is home for another week from Dubai, where she's working, it is the first time the whole family, including our two grandsons, have had everybody together since Christmas, 2008. So that was pretty special. The weather was warm and mild, a perfect Autumn day.
I am very lucky to have my lovely family and my friends and to now have my DS friends as well.
I hope everyone has had a pleasant weekend.

what a wondeful project to have started a Trivera night (i\'m not quite sure what that is) and raise money for Haiti releif.. How so thoughtful and giving of the 3 of you to organize such a special night for a country who has very little and are depending so much for us for help.. I\'m happy to hear that you had a perfect weekend with all your family sharing it with you.. Tim and i had a really nice weekend too, we went out to dinner Friday night, we walked, most the restaurants are close by.. This was a new restaurant, but it had great food an a real nice atmosphere.. We had such a nice time, we were both so relaxed and Tim was so happy, he looks so forward to our nights out.. One thing for sure the Torisel never took his appetite away and he loves to eat, some of the treatments thats the first thing they do.. He surprised me this morning and took me out to breakfast, it felt like the old days before he got sick this winter so i am so full of gratitude, he feels so good today.. It\'s nice to know we both had a good weekend as i hope all our friends did to..

Hi Angel, I\'am so glad that you had a good time with your family. It is good to have your children close and to \"make a few memories\".
