A long answer
At the end of the last journal entry. In reading two books this weekend: Joan Erikson's book about the ninth element in the stages of human growth by her husban Erik Erikson, and Victor Frankl's book on "Man's Search for Meaning". One about the past that causes effects now, and Frankl's about the future, and how to live forward with meaning. Odd that I picked up those two books, Thursday, together (There were two more, one a psychology dictionary, the other is 50 Psychology Classics). Frankl's book has promise as I write this. At the moment, I percieve that this is what has had me disturbed for so long. construction did not really have meaning for me. Psychology and Philosophy does. I'm in the right field now, I just need to keep going and enjoying my growth in this area. Clearly, this is where my heart is. My lack of meaning in life has been the problem. For years I wanted to get out of construction, and couldn't, or wouldn't, or used the excuse that I didn't know how, or that I needed help, I couldn't do it alone. Except, in a way I am doing it now, with assistance from my wife. I am following my bliss now. Not for money, but because it's where my interests and satisfaction lie. I feel positive about this... Forgive me, I\'m leaving a lot out. Two books worth of reading and understanding cannot be reduced to a couple of paragraphs.
Secondly, I finished my last Effexor pill Saturday and am further tapering off with Prozac until monday-a-week. We\'ll see if any of this latest writing has anything to do with the effect of the withdrawal of the medicine after that.
So much work to still straighten out!
I am glad you are following your bliss and doing what you love. I can see you really do have a love for philosophy.
