a little sweet, a little nutty.

oatmeal with sweet brown sugar for breakfast.  just right, the warmth brings sleepy contentment.  back to sleep i go.
smelled something burning........sniff, snuggle in, sniff some more......gradually wake and wonder if the world......as in the immediate world in proximity to personal safety is alright.  rise and look for the source.  see wispy trails of smoke down the street, burning autumn leaves.  it's being tended........good enough.
annie is hiding inside the sheet tunnel on the couch.......rio is sitting on the edge, batting at his hidden playtime pal.  rio watches/waits ........annie tunnels out the other side........pushing at the honey colored pillow..........rio jumps.......annie climbs out....rio cautiously sticks his head in the tunnel.......and now  he's almost all hidden, save a tip of his tail.
sheets ruffled up on the couch are fun.  who knew they could provide so much free entertainment?  annie is peering at rio........this is a great game.
remember when you were a kid.......did you ever pull blankets, sheets.......over chairs, tables to create a hide-away?  guess kitties love this as much as we used to.
i made burnt cookie bottom cookies last night.  bummer.  the box mix says adds 1/2 c butter to one egg, then add mix.  2 tsp. per cookie on ungreased sheet.  done.  yup preheated the oven.  set timer.  could not get cookies off the cookie sheet.  i was chiseling them off.   i know i have muscle weakness on my end, but the way they were stuck.  unfair.  .........they were in the oven for 9 minutes.  crazy, saved the cookie tops as yummy little crumble pieces - wasn't a total bust.
moral of the story, don't bake cookies while wonky.
if i spray a little of that cooking spray on the bottom of the pan would it hurt anything?  ......chocolate chip cookie mix by krusteaz.  krusteaz makes great mixes.....don't blame them, i'm sure it was wonky bird error.
so where are we at?  sleepy as all get out.  circles under eyes - deep gray wells.........dark shadows....blue eyes faded........some inner sparkle.  outer sparkle MIA.
daily chores on hold.
got some painful rash action, keep slathering on smelly cream.  it's probably not that bad, but it's never gonna compete with vanilla.  or baby powder..........it's medicinal, gross.  sjogren's induced......they come and they go.  they like to hit you in tender little creases where you move/bend.  rotten rassafrass rashes.  got a sore inside my poor little mouth.  sjogrens is not a very peaceful illness. my lips are peeling.  yup, sjogrens again.  it's a naughty autoimmune lunkhead.
last night when i couldn't sleep, i drug books outta the spare bedroom closet.  put read ones in the donation bag.  hard to say how well i did, cause a lot of the times i don't remember if i've read them or not........reading twice is not bad - saves mo' money so no reason to really sweat it, right?  added other things from that crazy closet to donation central too.  it's a normal size coat closet until you start pulling things out.  then it turns into Mary Poppins carpet bag.  all kinds of things come out of that closet..........art, books, blankets, pillows, playful cats!!!!!!
pharmacy boy just called to tell me to come get my medicine.  oh ok.  tomorrow is dentist day at 3.  if i leave here by 1 i can pick up meds.....go to dentist and bring my novocained little self back after.  if i have enough time i could probably get eggs, milk, bread........brussel sprouts, etc. but i have to have enough energy to drive back home again.  ---- maybe no grocery store just yet.
feel my face burning.  if i get up and go look my face will have that funny rash on my cheeks, neck, collar bone.........chin.  what is red and gray and tired all over?  little wonky me.  pharmacy boy asked me what was going on....(as in why aren't you coming for your meds miss lady)  told him i had to keep the roads safe.
he said nothing...so i try to explain better.   sigh...... wish i could stop talking in fog speak when i'm tired.
i can think "it's better to wait to drive until i feel better".  simple, clean, makes sense.  but that is not what comes outta my mouth.
---followed up with, "it's not sleepy to drive safe"
well crap........  can't launch a sentence into audio air space correctly. i may know what i mean, but I sound like LOCO OLD LADYO. i imagine him making index finger twirly circles next to his ears......the international shared sign that a nut is demonstrating proof of nuttiness.
i have some time left til i have to decide if i can or if i cannit.
let's all trace our hands and make crayon pictures of turkeys like when we were kids, display them on the FRIG.......
final thought, set your scale back ten pounds before Thanksgiving!

Hey you:-) I spilled hot cooa (my last cup of the day) and while I stared at it in amazement, I realized... Oh.... yeah.... gravity!
I am a foggy-headed lion myself... And don\'t worry. I asked my hubby what he wants for supper. Only instead of \"What would you like for supper?\" I said \"Would you supper?\"

If you made burnt cookie bottom cookies last night, and the bottoms burnt...I\'d say you scored 100!

I nominate you for the wonky bird cookie creator of the month!

I gave up on making cookies a long time ago.The last time I attempted to do so, I thought I had used the right ingredients and followed all instructions. However when I opened the oven for a peek, they had completely disappeared or disintegrated?? Invisible cookies !. Still have no idea what I did wrong.

What a busy day you had and hope you have a goodnight.

I have learned to use parchment paper on my cookie sheet, no more burnt cookies.

My youngest grandchildren just gave me turkeys drawn with their hands. At least they still do that which is simple and creative.

I know that fibro fog thing you start to say something or go blank in the middle of a sentence.

Great idea setting ones scales back lol

Annie and rio\'s game with the sheets prompted a fond memory for me! My best friend and I used to cover a card table with a sheet, and spend all day under it playing \"camp out.\" Our food was greasy potato chips that we called \"bear meat.\" Good wishes at the dentist!

I remember making \'snow forts\'. Growing up near Montreal, we got a TON of snow and we\'d bundle up and play outside for hours. Rosy cheeked giggling kids, ready to thaw with a hot chocolate.

Great advice about the scales - applies to Christmas too, huh? I decided NOT to bake cookies this year. Really, we\'ll just eat them all. Bought some for Christmas lunch, that\'s all we need. Good luck @ the Dentist....HUGS
